Lactation Counseling
This service is for breastfeeding mothers and anyone caring and feeding a child in their early years. Its for those who desire to raise their little one into a secure and compassionate contributor to our society.
Get skilled informational and emotional support, and gain insights about your situation and confidence to act on your goals. In some instances, a shoulder to lean on may just be enough to get you back in the game.
Breastfeeding is an instinctual and natural act, but it is also an art that is learned day by day. The reality is that almost all women can breastfeed, have enough milk for their babies and learn how to overcome problems both large and small. It is almost always simply a matter of practical knowledge and not a question of good luck.
If any but not limited to these apply to you, please feel free to book an appointment or contact me:
- Exploring if breastfeeding is a good fit for my situation
- First days or weeks with a newborn and things are not going as expected
- Breastfeeding but either baby or mother has a medical condition
- I’m going back to work and want to continue giving breastmilk to my baby
- How to harmoniously and effectively communicate my breastfeeding goals to my family, friends, healthcare provider, workplace and others
- Ending lactation or breastfeeding relationship
Any caregiver in the household, community health care workers, or members of the community are welcome to seek more lactation information.
